Conference 2020 in Indonesia

Conference 2020 in Indonesia has been postponed due to Covid-19 state. Further information will be provided.

Conference 2020 will be held in Indonesia. It includes four steam train rides, visit to railway museum in Ambarawa. Everyone with an interest in heritage railways and museums will be warmly welcomed.

It is advised arrival to Semarang airport until 6 December via Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore to take train for Cepu.
The conference will end in the late afternoon of 11 December in Solo(Surakarta).
You fly back from Solo airport or Yogyakarta one and half hours by train from Solo.
Conference fee is less than 300USD, depends on number of participants.
Partner programme will be available on the day of business session.

Accommodation in Cepu ad Solo will be booked by each participants.

Conference 2019 in Amman, Jordan

Conference 2019 in Amman, Jordan will be held through the courtesy of Jordan Hejaz Railways. It includes a couple of days train ride, visit to new railway museum and workshop. Everyone with an interest in heritage railways and museums will be warmly welcomed.

Access to Qianwei(犍为)
Qianwei(犍为) is a small rural town, two hours bus ride from Chengdu(成都), capital of Sichuan(四川). Bus services departs from Shiyangchang bus station (石羊客运站), less than 30 minutes by taxi from Chengdu airport (成都双流国际机场) where you fly to.
Bus services are available from 7:30 to 17:30, every 20-30 minutes. ticket costs around 75RMB.

ATMs are widely available, easy to withdraw Renminbi(RMB) at airport and many other places.
The climate of Sichuan in October is warm but cool in the morning and evening.
Please note few people speak English in countryside of China.
